Dead Man Walking
Written by Sara Petite
Cling clang go the shackles and the chains
Seconds are like minutes, when an hour remains
You leave your cell, begging to be saved
Dead Man Walking
Say goodbye to your neighbors and your friends
As your walking down a hallway of horror and shame
Down to heaven, down to hell
Who knows in the end?
Dead Man Walking
As you walk by they all pray you’ll go home
It may be days, weeks or months they’ll know what you know
Whatcha you gonna know?
Dead Man Walking
Who injects the needle?
Who hangs the noose?
Who pulls the body off the table?
Who cuts him loose?
Mmmm…… Dead Man Walking
An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth
The rich man gets off; the poor man will lose;
One dies, one’s still alive Dead Man Walking
Open up the doorway that leads to your death
Suffocate as you breath, make that last request
Do you think you’ll be blessed?
Dead Man Walking
A poor man pays with an eye with a limb
A rich man trades money for sin
One dies, one’s still alive
Dead Man Walking
Who injects the needle?
Who hangs the noose?
Who pulls the body off the table?
Who cuts him loose?
Mmmm…… Dead Man Walking
An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth
The rich man gets off, the poor man will lose
One dies, one’s still alive Dead Man Walking
Cling clang go the shackles and the chains
Seconds are like minutes when an hour remains
You leave your cell, begging to be saved
Dead Man Walking
As you walk by they all pray you’ll go home
It may be days weeks or months
They’ll know what you know
Whatcha gonna know?

Uncle Irving
Written by Sara Petite and John Kuhlken
There’s a chicken in the window,
There’s a chicken on his head;
There’s a chicken in the kitchen
Five a clucking on the bed.
I know you don’t believe it
But Uncle Irving said
“That chicken house is freezing cold!”
now there’s chickens in the bed.
There’s a goat up on the ceiling
There’s a goat behind the door;
A billy goat just turned and reared
And kicked me to the floor.
I know you don’t believe it but I can’t take no more
Because they eat us out of house and home
And when they sleep they snore.
There’s bunnies in the bathtub
And there’s bunnies in the sink
Bunnies, bunnies everywhere
It’s driving me to drink.
Uncle Irving thinks they’re cute
But I just think they stink, phew wee
I think I see you more bunnies
Every time I blink.
There’s a chicken in the window,
There’s a chicken on his head;
There’s a chicken in the kitchen
Five a clucking on the bed.
I know you don’t believe it
But Uncle Irving said
“That chicken house is freezing cold!”
now there’s chickens in the bed.
“That chicken house is freezing cold!”
now there’s chickens in the bed.
“That chicken house is freezing cold!”
now there’s chickens in the bed.
Little Girl
Written by Sara Petite
Little girl, little girl
it’s raining in your heart
It’s raining in your hearts
It’s always raining in your heart
Broken wings, broken dreams
And broken memories
Broken pieces of a broken heart
Laying there to bleed.
Broken spirit broken soul
All broken down
Well I guess it’s hard to fly
With broken pieces on the ground
I guess it’s hard to fly
With broken pieces on the ground.
Little girl, little girl
it’s raining in your heart
It’s raining in your hearts
It’s always raining in your heart
If you were my little girl,
I’d no just where to start
To mend the broken pieces
Of your little broken heart.
I’d mend the broken dreams the promises
I’d mend those broken wings,
Patch ‘em all together so you could fly again
I’d patch em all together so you could fly again
Little girl, little girl
it’s raining in your heart
It’s raining in your hearts
It’s always raining in your heart
Little girl, little girl
it’s raining in your heart
It’s raining in your hearts
It’s always raining in your heart
Six Smiles
Written by Wade Maurer
You never gave me six smiles
And its been a while
Since I seen your eyes telling hurting lies
About your smile
You never gave me six smiles
And I want to know why
I wasted all my time
Living out a lie about your smile
And it must’ve been a long time ago
I swore I told you so
That all I ever wanted was six smiles
And I’m taking it one day at a time
Trying to hold onto what was mine
All I ever wanted was your six smiles.
You never gave six smiles
And I tried so hard
I tried to work it out
There was still some doubt about your smile.
You never gave me six smiles
And I want to know why
I wasted all my time
Living out a lie about your smile
And it must’ve been a long time ago
I swore I told you so
That all I ever wanted was six smiles
And I’m taking it one day at a time
Trying to hold onto what was mine
All I ever wanted was your six smiles.
All I ever wanted was your six smiles.
All I ever wanted was your six smiles.
Moonshine
Written by Sara Petite
Aunt Mary’s making moonshine
Moonshine from a whiskey still.
Aunt Mary’s making moonshine
Moonshine from a whiskey still.
I’m gonna get some moonshine
Even if I gots to steal.
Aunt Mary hides her moonshine
Up on Tiger Mountain hill.
Aunt Mary hides her moonshine
Up on Tiger Mountain hill.
Behind the hummingbirds and flowers
That’s where she hides her whiskey still.
I’m gonna climb up on that mountain
Mmmm… I’m gonna get my fill.
I’m gonna climb up on that mountain
Mmmm… I’m gonna get my fill.
If I can’t syphen up some moonshine,
My sister Jenny will.
We’re drinking moonshine
In our little-bitty cabin on the hill.
We’re drinking moonshine
In our little-bitty cabin on the hill.
Aunt Mary comes a knockin’
Says we better pay our bill.
Moonshine, moonshine
Moonshine from a whiskey still.
Moonshine, moonshine
Moonshine from a whiskey still.
I’m gonna get some moonshine
Even if I gots to steal.
Aunt Mary comes a knockin’
Says we better pay our bill.
